How do I find software?

To find a product easily, try to use the "Keyword Search", "Part Number", "Pick a Category", and/or "Browse Category" to look for the item that you want.

If you use the "Keyword Search", type in the keyword of the product.  For example, type in "visual studio" or "studio" if you are looking for Microsoft Visual Studio Professional version 6.0.

If you have a part number of the product, you can also search for part number at the homepage and type in the identical information.  For example, the original part number is C11-00001, you need to type in C11-00001.  Without "-" or small capital letter, your search item may not be found.

What's OEM?

OEM stands for “Original Equipment Manufacturer”. OEM software contains the same program as the Retail Box version. They however do not come in fancy packaging materials as their retail counterparts, and there is no technical support provided by the software manufacturer, hence the lower prices for OEM versions.

Some software manufacturers/copyright holders require that hardware be purchased with their OEM products or to be distributed with New PC. Our company does not have affiliations or agreements with any of these manufacturers/copyright holders. The End User License Agreement is a contract between the user of the software/hardware item and the manufacturer/copyright holder of the software or hardware product. By purchasing OEM items from our company, you have agreed to comply with all of the terms of the End User License Agreement and have purchased or intend to purchase the qualifying hardware or items required, and you hold our company harmless for any damages or violations of this agreement.

What's DSP?

DSP stands for “Delivery Service Partner”. DSP software is similar to OEM software, but DSP is more generic and normally would have no manufacturer’s name stamped on the manual or printed on the license. Like OEM versions, DSP versions contain the same program as the Retail Box version. They also do not come in fancy packaging materials and there is no technical support provided by the software manufacturer resulting in much lower prices. DSP versions often come with only an electronic help manual, which is built-in to the software or a small getting-started manual.

Some software manufacturers/copyright holders require that hardware be purchased with their OEM or DSP products or to be distributed with New PC.
